Midnight Madness Sketch9 & Colour Create Challenge22

Happy Tuesday, time to play Midnight Madness Sketch! I play the Colour Create Challenge, found out through Di (DT) as she plays in the MMSC sketch regularly. It's always fun to trade. One of these days I'll get over to Magnolia since I frequently use Tildas anyways.Challenge 22 is using Grassy Green, Apple Green, Lemonade, White, sunflower yellow.

Let's have a big congrats to the winner of Midnight Madness Masterpiece Award KathyJ ! and to Sue for winning the Computer Smarts Award! Sue is so knowledgeable & shares her smarts with us when we get stuck. She just opened her online store where you can buy wood, digital prints for your card. Her store front is on my page below McMahonFive.

This week's sketch is below:

The background white flower: I stamped it using vanilla scrapbook paint, painted it using yellow glitter pen, liquid gum Arabic and MOONGLOW mica powder in gold. Moonglow products is from Lindy's Stamp Gang, July Sponsor for MMSC :) Check them out. I embossed a stamp behind the charm using sunlight gold embossing powder. And if you look carefully, the background is sprayed with yellow gold starburst spray to have a pattern of the flower template- that is from crafter's companion stencil from Archivers. I go there regularly :) Have a great day, hope I inspired you to go make a card. xox ~Jeni

Receipe: Cherry Tilda, Sentiment is from Basic Grey Clear stamp Limited Edition of Life is like a bowl of cherries. The background cherry stamp is from Mary Engelbreit. Charm from Blue Moon Beads, ribbon from stash, cropadile tool for the holes and the eyelets, white brad, QKutz die for the binder looking piece in brown.

Paper: Assortment of Prima Nursery Paper, DCVM, Que Sera left over pieces.

I really like the way Magnolia is sitting outside the frame. Lovely embellishments. The tied ribbons really pop on the side. Great job on the sketch challenge!
