Midnight Madness Sketch#8 and the Jun Prize drawing tomorrow!

We are so close to our number of followers goal, let's keep it rolling, invite your friends to play or just be a follower of Midnight Madness, the prize drawing will happen on July 1st! The next prize is a Drawing#1 (Sponsor's Donations) and Drawing #2 (Denise, DT's donations) Be one of Denise's followers and you'll get an extra entry at this prize :)

Congrats to last week's Masterpiece winner Di ! and Michelle, for winning the Ray of Sunshine award! Her always cheerful personality and bright & colorful cards makes everything more pleasant!

Here's my card

using this week's sketch #8 below:

I used a digital image and framed it with ribbons and beads. I painted the background with liquid gum arabic and brushed Moon Glow Mica Powder in Carribean Gold & Orbit Gold Green right onto wet areas and it keeps the color there :) Then I used some crystal gloss and went right over the areas to keep it shine. Gold EP over the lace areas on the corners and embellished with some gems. As for the flowers I layered and painted some various blues, green, gold on the flowers before stacking them.

For the Month of July, Our sponsor is Lindy's Stamp Gang, the makers of MOONGLOW PRODUCTS! Fabulous stuff, I use their products regularly on my cards, go get some of their 2 tone Embossing powder, you'll not find any other embossing powder that gives this effect ( I think they add mica powder to it to make it so pretty)

Receipe:
Stamps: Lace stamp from the Paper Studio, Gold EP ( make sure you wear a mask when using EP for safety), Mica Power from Moonglow Products
Digital Images, Paper from my Stash, Velvet ribbon, colored ribbon from Michael's crafts, EK Success Retro Flower Punch, Marvy Uchida flower punch, Prima Vintage Flowers, glitter brads.

Thanks for stopping by and you know I'll be waiting to see those cards you make, I will try to comment on each and every one! xox ~Jeni

PS: The butterfly on my card isn't a stamp it's cut from some really pretty embossed dp from SEI - called Chocolat!

Very pretty Jeni. Love the jems around the frame, they match the flowers in her hair nicely.

Very nice entry! Your work is neat and precise, stitching is great. Partial to "beads" so this one touches my heart! Thanks for suggestion to sign up for a guest designer spot!

Jeni, this is such a beautiful image. The beads are so pretty around the image and bring in the same colors as the ribbons in her hair. Love the stitching too. So much to look at and enjoy. Very nice.
