Let's get to MMSC #4!

I used Magnolia Stamps- Tilda and a Flower Box, available at simonsaysstamp.com. I embossed the image with black powder and colored it with Copics. For Background, I used cuttlebug embossing folder. The flower patterns embossing powder were from Lindy's Stamp Gang, color is Candy Rose. Shiny parts of the gold box were touched with liquid gum arabic and brushed with gold mica powder, also from Lindy's. I used Shimmerz in Pink on the ribbon. Looks nice but the photos does not pick it up well.

Click on the picture for closeup. I do not recommend embossing in black powder and using copics as it smudges. I will figure a better way to color after embossing and share it with you once I find out.

For Coloring, I used copics, orange and yellow tombow pens with Tim Holtz distress ink: fired brick, worn lipstick, shabby shuttters. I will keep practicing my copic colors until I get really good at it. hugs, xoxo Jeni

What a beautiful card. Love the colors and the stamp.
By the way, I stamp with memento black pad and emboss with clear EP before using copic markers. Works great! No smears.
